So I have decided to do my first gaming pc and bought this stuff.
NZXT Phantom Red case
MSI z77 g41 mobo
EVGA Geforce 660 ftw
8gb Corsair 1600mhz ddr3
MSI dvd/cd normal stuff
WD 250gb 6gb/s 7200rpms
Thermaltek 600w psu
And I just bought my processer
Intel Core i5 3570k 3.4ghz
I believe that was all.
How well do you think this setup will do?

I5 3570k is a great choice I know a bunch of people that use them and love them.
8gb corsair is good too 8gb is like the standard amount and it works. Plus corsair is a good brand.
I have heard that the z77 chips are good but I dont know of your specific board. Maybe a bigger hard drive down the road.

660 TI is the better one of the two dont skimp out on the 30-40 dollars believe me its worth it. Go to anandtech.com and look at the benchmarks as they speak for themselves honestly.

Definitely, the normal 660 (not the ti version) should run BF3 maxed out around 55 fps, i'd say on high settings, not ultra, it would run a solid 60-75 fps.
