What you do is when you first see that you have been reset, DO NOT join a public match at all or this won't work. You want to go to the dashboard, delete all of the patches and the map nuketown 2025. Start up black ops 2, redownload the patches. Now find an online friend who is playing a match on nuketown 2025 and try to join their session. It will give you back your rank.
