Hey TTG, i recently found an iPhone 3g or 3gs on the road that works perfectly fine but i just cant get it to load up the app store or itunes. When i press either it loads for a second then says cant conect to appstore, please check date and time settings. Would it help if i restored the phone?
Thx, -Dzn-

Before restoring I would try this.
Go to Settings -> General -> Date & Time and see if it is correct for your area.
If that doesn't work than restore and that should fix your problems

You do relize if its an iphone, somebody prbly lost it and will use gps to find it. And you could be charged with stealing by authorities... Right??? Should look in contacts and get info on the owner. You might get a reward for returning it!

That only works if they have Find My iPhone or Locations services on. If they don't have either of those than its basically a new iPhone once they restore it.
