The meanings of life are:
1.) Love
2.) Laugh
3.) Learn
4.) Re-populate
5.) And make the most of what you are given

Those are my opinions, people may disagree, but that's okay, as that is their opinion.

Shadow- wrote 43 is the answer to all lifes problems

Take one away from it, & you'll have the correct answer.

42 is the answer to life the universe and everything.

Set goals, and accomplish goals. Other then that, pretty much nothing.

Yin wrote Unless it's understandable after you die, there is no point. There literally is no point. You can proclaim that it's to be the happiest you can be or to live life to the fullest, but those aren't a point. A point would need some form of universal goal. These are personal goals that people think their goal in life is. There is no point in universal life. There is no goal. We are just here and we have to do it. The ONLY way there would actually be a point to universal life is if there truly is a life after this in a spirit type world.

Someone who sees it like I do. In my opinion, unless there is more to it when we die that will allow what we have done (or will do) to carry on, life has no purpose. We accomplish nothing. Even if we are great like Leonidas, Aristotle, Galileo, Washington, Einstein, the Earth is one day going to die. Even if we get off the Earth into a new solar system or find some means of artificial light capable of supporting a population, one day every single star is going to die. Those that become black holes will take in everything left of them after they go Super-nova and soon their won't be enough nebula's to recreate all the lost stars. We are in the Golden Ages of the Universe now, in a few million years, other galaxies will be to far out of sight to even see. So unless there is something after our time on Earth ends, then we accomplish nothing in our lives, the whole of human achievements will die with the Earth.

Sidenote: I apologize for that being depressing, I am just trying to state my opinion, if you don't want to read it, you don't have to. If you don't want to hear my opinion, get out of the Rant section

I sometimes ask myself the same questions and how dare anyone critic this person for asking this question. I wish I was like other guys and knew the answer aswell but I couldn't tell you the sharpest mind actually knew. I'll tell you what I do know that I haven't found the solution to is finding yourself. So answer your question with another question such as "Who am I?" I think when you find that out you will find your meaning.

i think there is no other answer except to just simply live it, and appreciate more and more about it as you get older.

The meaning in life is learning to spell the word 'other'.
