ok so i have uninstalled windows and installed mac osx86 on my hp mini 5105 series netbook. how do i find out my network card type so i can install the drivers for it???

have you gone to hp website and look for the drivers for your netbook?

True_Blackhat wrote ok so i have uninstalled windows and installed mac osx86 on my hp mini 5105 series netbook. how do i find out my network card type so i can install the drivers for it???from the few mac's i have used you would go to terminal and run the cmd lspci then you would look for the wifi card in the listing and then search for the mac version drivers or port over the linux ones.
edit after testing lspci in vmware i had to compile the missing linux cmds to use it, the easy solution after checking to make sure that the wifi card is supported by mac is to use use bootcamp or just the windows boot camp drivers to add in the support for the pc based hardware.
