On for $399, save $100, so assuming it is originally $499.

What Do you think is better for light gaming such as minecraft and W@W Zombies w/ custom maps. Take in consideration the price difference also. Thanks!

any of those two can run minecraft, heck my 7 year old desktop can run minecraft if it tried,

for Call of duty, i'd recommend the Acer Aspire as it has Amd graphics card which is more than enough to run WAW zombies.

hope i helped,

The Acer will probably be your best bet out of those two for a few reasons.

Even though reliability is an issue, customers prefer Acer's customer service.

It comes with Windows 8, unlike the dell which ships with Ubuntu.

The acer has an APU which will deal with games a lot better than the i3's HD graphics 3000 graphics controller.

The acer comes with more RAM and a larger hard drive - don't think that it makes it quicker though, because it doesn't. To increase performance over time dramatically, you'll want to put a SSD in it, for example a Crucial M4.

Worth the extra 100$? Yes, I'd say so. Don't expect blazing fast graphics performance out of it though, because remember - they're "budget" laptops.
