The higher the Mhz, the more data you can transfer in less time. Basically, it's faster.

Question, why is this: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] cheaper than this: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
The first one's memory is 1866 versus 1600 but it's cheaper?? Is there something I'm not seeing?

The difference in performance between 1333mhz and 2133mhz is measly, the reason they are priced differently almost certainly comes down to latencies.

Don't worry about Mhz. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 1333 and 1866.
The timings might be different, or it could just be the brand name.

Ok so what RAM would you recommend (8GB) for around $30 to $45?
