Hello, Me and 5 friends are starting a small business. we plan on buying 6 computers along with other devices. My main question is that we need software; like Microsoft office and Anti virus... where can I get a hold of software license? I don't want to pirate it. I have the money to pay for it.

you can get license bundles from the antivirus developer's site they usually offer deals for 10 keys on up, microsoft is a little trickier to get deals on keys the best bet is to look of sales or deals for them but you can always drop $100.00 on a couple of MSDN accounts and get access to all MS product keys i think they give 3 keys per product and each key can be used on 3 separate computers at a time while activated. the other option bigger small business do is buy a $1500.00 license plan from Microsoft for i think its 100 keys, they also offer a $5-20,000 license plan for unlimited activations on X amount of devices and products depending on how much you spend.
from what you seem to be wanting to do i would buy a MSDN account that will give you keys for all products for $100.00 that can be activated on 9 separate computers.

thanks, do I choose the open value? the 5+ license does seem to be what I want.
If you need more than five, go for it. However I'm not sure what software it allow's you to purchase. I'd check to make sure you know what you're paying for.

ok let me just get this straight. So I buy 2 MS product keys, that's loaded with excel, access, word, and etc. For each product key I could use it for 3 different computers, in total six computers? I don't think I need the 100 keys, if I needed to add more computers I could do that down the road. Is there any discount. or anything that Microsoft wouldn't have in there bundle, that I would have to purchase separately?

Maybe I can suggest something.
If you register with the Microsft Partner Program.

Then you will get the office products for download. (This is chargable)
And if you need Visual Studio, you can start by downloading the Express editions for free.

Then if you need to upgrade to Professional, you can buy an MSDN package, which again will give you developer licences of various OS Versions and other Apps.

no you buy a MSDN account, the account comes with 3 keys for EVERY PRODUCT microsoft offers, and each key can be used on 3 separate computers at a time meaning you have keys for all MS products for 9 separate computers to use.
retail OS keys i think can only be used on one machine at a time except for office which is still 3 installs on one key retail wise.
MSDN keys "Developer" Keys can be used three times at once, though that is of a few years ago so all keys might have the 1 activated limit removed. but with the MSDN account you have 3 keys for windows 95-8 including server editions as well as office 2003-10 student-Professional-Bussiness-Ultimate as well as all other MS products/Software. you also get new keys for new revisions/installments as they come out as well as having access to all the previous versions.
the accounts start at $349 if you go through a certified rep, or you can buy directly [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
they also every now and then offer year long subscriptions for $100 if you keep you eye out for them and the renewal is $99 after that first year with the promo's usually.
If any of you or your friends are in college and in a computer program then you have access to all of this already for free through academic alliance [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
