When you recieve a ban do they reset your rank??

Probably a FAQ but I'm not sure!!!

yes they do reset your rank just like in mw3

I need to reset myself to get my good K/D back now.
You keep your deaths, losses and play time though I think.

I'm not sure if I can just reach 4th prestige for a prestige token.
I was banned at 5th prestige but still had 2 tokens spare.
