Just unlocked my shotgun rank! Got it after a solo tranzit to round 52. had 0 downs then got down 2x and it ended; but i got my rank! My kdr is 243 and I had been been focusing on getting to rounds 40+ consistently for the last few days, which is what i think moved me up in rank.

I had been knife rank since the beginning, but just now started focusing on consistent high rounds, and voila! Anyway, just thought i would share this to help out anyone else trying to get shotguns!

Also i had seen people saying you have to get to 40+ x amount of times in a row; I think it doesn't necessarily have to be right in a row. Out of my last 10 games, i would say that 7 have gone to 30+, 3 of those being, 45, 52, and 62. Mixed in there though were at least 3 games that ended on round 1, due to me getting downed in the fire trying to get to town.

This is exactly what I've been saying I had a kd of 296 before I got shotguns. I got it after a round of 35 no downs 2000+ kills

Nice job. Yea it's not all about the k/d like a lot think. Rounds achived is the other half of your rank along with k/d which is why alot of ppl get rank 5 with a k/d less than 200. Ive seen a couple ppl at rank 5 with a k/d of 50 but their " rounds achived score" makes up the difference.

it takes ages for you to get de ranked when you are shotguns.i was max level with blue eyes and hadn't been on zombies in about 1 month and only lost my blue eyes and tally wentdown to 1 so...

You don't lose your rank unless you to bad in a game... you only lose tally marks wich are gotten through playing 2 hours a day for a day.
