The best Primary Assualt Rifle is the M416, in my opinion

But the bad thing is the M416 is pretty much a default weapon and you have to try everything else since damage splash varies with premium weapons.

Within the choices in Battlefield, I agree, that the M416 is the best. It has everything you really need. Although, DoctorGlocky is right in many ways. The M416 in an in-your-face battle, I think the M5K would win. Only because the M5K has a higher rate of fire and has slightly more accuracy.

It all is based on damage splash (as in damage per hit) and fire rate.

The G3A3 has a splash of 36 per hit and it takes 100 to kill someone.

The M416 has a fire rate of +17% which is faster then the G3A3 but the splash is only 24.

The M16A3 was good before the last update but they increased recoil vertically by 3% and also removed 4 splash damage.
