We have one of the highest rates of gun control and murder with firearms.
Most of the countries that have more, are generally less civilized (Africa, etc.)
Either way, guns play a role in murder rates.
I had a document awhile ago that had the rate of murder and other crimes with firearm correlation.

Also, I hardly take the news on fact. They usually alter news to get more views or just claim random ideas based on small amounts of evidence.

Ex:
Gun shootings with correlation to video games, yet we have yet to find a high correlation.

Also, to the other guy, they found out the shooter didn't even have much in the way of mental disorders.

That doesn't make it invalid, just the United States is possibly ignorant.
You can't ignore the fact that of all of the civilized countries and crime rates, United States is one of the highest. Same with homicide involving guns and weapons.

I never said the UK wasn't. But the fact that I've only heard or seen that reporter mention UK being incredibly higher then US is weird.
