I currently have a [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and a [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and after seeing youtube videos and benchmarks on games like skyrim, my framerate is lower than what is shown. Skyrim for example, I have seen ~80 on high 1080p but I am only getting ~60 and I have my settings set the exact same. I am just curious about this. Any help?

I would reccomend investing in a new CPU for sure, you will see a big boost in performance in most games.

What about the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] It is about in my price range for what I would be able to spend, and I already have the specified socket type. I can't really go much higher as there are quite a few things I am getting.

That is much better, but you can find 2500ks on ebay for ~$200 if you can find some extra cash

That is a definite maybe. I will have to wait a little while if I get that though. I have about $400 in upgrades to both my pc and basic peripherals as it is though.

I totally understand lol, it's taken me about 4 months to slowly upgrade my build, and I'm still not done.

For the same price, the i5 3570K is the newer generation and has a slight performance boost. I'd recommend this.

The G860 should not bottleneck the 7770. You also are not going to see the 7770 pull 60 FPS in Skyrim at high settings.

There is no bottleneck and the FPS counts you are reporting are off. You may also have Vsync enabled, which limits FPS to the refresh rate of your monitor, which is most like 60 Hz.

Just curious but where could I find a chart like that for the 7770 GHz OC edition by sapphire? Are there certain websites that can show accurate benchmarks like that?
