To tell you the truth, no capture card under $20 will record good quality. You're better off just saving your money for at least a [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] or an [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .

Throw it like a Pokemon at your TV and say "POTATOE GO" and it should start recording.

Feet just made me die with his reply and the only thing you could get is an EasyCap or a Dazzle. And both of those are terrible.

I have used dazzle in the past, and I have been able to make some decent 480p gameplay. It is worth the low price tag, if you are not in need of amazing quality HD footage. Which most people aren't.

And to the other people who say "Get an HDPVR! Only 220$!" I'm going to call BS on that. Simply because I doubt you even have one, and if you did and used differing capture devices, you would know that you are better off with an Elgato or even Roxio if you don't mind the cable. So no, don't waste $200 when you probably don't even need a Recording system like that. start off with a $75-$100 budget, test out a card, and when you have the cash, make a good investment on something such as [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Sort of expensive, but if it's a good hobby why the hell not?
