Xbox is such a fun hobby though! You should just learn how to put it in its right place.

It's your spelling, not your grammar.

Anyways, I agree with Tenacity and TTGxBananas. "Quitting" something right away that you have grown used to and start to depend on makes the craving for this thing worse. Limiting your usage gradually is the best thing to do.

I personally think that you're acting like xbox is a drug.

Just play only on the weekends and make the week days for school work.

Ramparts wrote If you played to much xbox you could have just did something different with your time, find a new hobby. Last year I played way too many video games so I learned how to play guitar. Quitting xbox is a little extreme, don't you think?

I don't want it. I waste my money and time on it. I just got offered 500 $ for my Xbox, I'm going to use it for something that benefits me. Not something that entertains me.

It practically is. And now that I stopped xbox, I've explored new things.

If you just start getting rid of something because it takes up too much time, why not get rid of food? Heck sleeping takes up 8 hours! Just study study study! Sorry if it comes across as judging, but I don't mean to be. I simply mean, that just because something takes up a lot of time, doesn't mean it's wasted time. I have learned a lot more playing Halo then I have in first period foreign language. Now, I do not mean to completely neglect your studies, I simply mean not to get rid of everything that seems to take up "Important time", when the time you've spent doing those things has actually been a great life experience. Just make time.

Lol, explore new things. You quit this afternoon, I highly doubt that you explored new things when you said in a message: I was crying most of the day. But I encourage you to do the same.
