Hello everyone I have started modding L4D2 again after about a year and came across a very interesting mod that lets you duplicate the L4D2 survivors. You can spawn loads of them. But not to much because the lag becomes to much if you spawn to many. I also found another sweet little mod that lets you spawn the Left 4 Dead 1 characters into the default L4D2 maps. However they do not follow you and the textures on their clothing does not load :/ however they are still good to have when playing survival for they do kill zombies pick up items and weapons, they also do move around. However The Left 4 Dead 2 Survivors will Follow you kill zombies revive you pick up items and weapons.
The Modded Main Menu is just a .bik replacement nothing fancy
Here is the video I made for proof.
I am going to add these mods to my main Barricade Builder Mod that I am making and a video of that should be up very soon

for something as advanced as cloning survivors and spawning in the old survivors (which you CAN get to move it just wont particularly be worth it) i cant help but notice that you have to go to the default.cfg versus doing all of the above demonstrated in the video on one layout... and whereabouts did you come across these string of commands?

The L4D1 survivors do move however they do not follow you. I have come a across a few cvars for making them follow you but none of them worked when I tested them. But still on the plus side the extra L4D2 survivors that I spawn in work just perfect .

All commands are located on the internet.

actually the commands used to clone the survivors and adding in the originals is a string of more than one command, my question to banjo was in regards to his source; i know the commands used (just like i know there's a way to get them to move but still not follow)...

Since there's no nav written for them and they don't see you as a waypoint leader all you can really do for em is use your cursor to point the way...

yeah your right...unless its possible to somehow have the l4d1 survivors latch on to the pre-existing nav..but its probably wishful thinking.

No matter what you try it will not work. The way L4D nav meshes work is that they only apply to the current "bots" and when you do the left 4 dead 1 spawn bots you are basically creating the passing's bots which do not follow the standard nav mesh rules. So in turn you cannot have them follow the meshes.
