I would have to say Xbox but PC gaming is the best!

Xbox 360 is the worst selling console of the PS3,360,WII gen so no it's not the most popular. I agree that it's a bit faster though.

I'd personally get a PS3 now honestly. They're pretty cheap nowadays. You'll like not having to pay for online, the exclusives, and the blu-ray player.
Actually, PS3 is more popular in France and Japan, everywhere else has had more Xbox 360 sales. The only reason the PS3 took over the Xbox 360 in worldwide sales is because they're popular in Asia as Sony is a Japanese brand. It took Sony around 6 years to overtake the Xbox 360 in worldwide sales though and the 360 is still ahead of the PS3 in sale figures in the US.

**EDIT** If Asian sales were excluded from the picture then Xbox 360 worldwide sales would be at 69 million and PS3 sales would be at 65 million.

That's nice. None of that changes the fact that the 360 is now the worst selling current gen console.

Really? You need a source? How hard is it to google "Xbox 360 and PS3 sale figures"? :facepalm: There is no denying that the Xbox 360 is a more social gaming console than the PS3 anyway. Simply for the XBL party chat. PS3 is better for free PSN connection whereas XBL costs but IMO it is well worth it. No matter what, PC beats both of these consoles and if he is a console gamer refusing to become a PC gamer then he may as well wait 10 or so months for the release of the next generation consoles.

I've had an Xbox for 8 years, I'm a very pleased customer with the service provided from Microsoft.
I would highly advise getting an Xbox.
