I'm building a new PC but I'm stuck between what graphics card to get. I want to run on 3 monitors and be able to keep good framerate on demanding games (such as BF3).

I'm stuck whether to get the 2GB GTX 680:

or the 4GB GTX 680:

Here is the setup so far:

Any thoughts? I would really appreciate some help.

The only reason 4 Gb would be needed is if you're going to use a dual monitor setup. Aside from that, the Radeon 7970 3Gb will outperform it.

That's the thing. I want to run 3 monitors.

Uhm, why?
the 7970 is a great card capable of running all three of your monitors.

If you want to max out games at 3x 1080p, you'll want two 7970s. They perform considerably better than 680s in SLI at high resolutions. The kicker is that overclocking the 7970s makes power consumption skyrocket.

According to these numbers, you'll want a 950w PSU if you'll be overclocking these cards. I can confirm that the OC used for this test is not even that aggressive and you can quite easily go higher. With a single 7970, you can comfortable run a quality 550w unit and if you do not intend to overclock, a quality 750w unit can get you by with Crossfired 7970s. Be wary, though.

Otherwise, get an i5-3570K instead of the i7 (HT just won't do much of anything for you in games) or an AMD FX 8350 and appropriate board if you plan on sticking with one card. If you're only/mostly gaming and don't plan to really push your overclock, you don't need a higher-end cooler than the Enermax ETS-T40-T.B. Drop the Vertex 3 for a Crucial M4 and remember to pick up an extra SATA cable for it. The MSI Z77A-G45 will give you all the features you need. The Asrock Extreme4 is a fine board, though, and so is the MSI Z77A-GD55, Asrock Extreme6, Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H, etc.
