You silly goose, I rated your build AND your entire setup separately. It IS messy and there are wires everywhere. It is a 4/10 at best but can easily be improved to a 6 if you clean up.

If you go to [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and put in everything I have it's recommended power supply is at least 650. Also those wires have nothing to do with my computer I still don't get your point though. I'm not going to clean off my whole desk just to take a simple picture.

I have an Acoustic MT8 7.1 surround sound system with a 15" sub coming from newegg <3 So I personally think the audio card was necessary.

Naww it'll come in handy in the future when I add more to the computer. Doesn't really matter how big it is as long as you have enough watts to run your setup. Also yeah the mouse is stupid where it's at I don't know why I haven't move it yet lol

The Logitech G9x Is not stupid. It;s one of THE best gaming mice, why do you think its stupid? I have one myself, I bought a G700 and it was a bad mouse, the G9X is way more comfortable. and I do agree with him, the 1200w is wayy to much.

Because it uses an optical sensor with acceleration. I'm using one right now and I intend to replace it. I've compared it to the Logitech G400 and Cooler Master Xornet and found that they are of higher quality. Anyone who actually knows about gaming mice will back up my claims that optical mice are better.

The speakers are not being powered by the sound card and it is therefore unnecessary. If the reciever has optical input, the exact same signal would be output by the motherboard's onboard audio chipset. If you're using it as a DAC with line-out, you should have bought just that, a DAC. If you're double-amping with the sound card amd and the speakers' amp, you are doing it wrong.

Power supply calculators are wrong. You could run your system on a quality 450w PSU if it has the proper connectors.

The only reason they recommend a 650w power supply is to compensate for the amount of terrible power supplies out there.

You can easily run this off of a QUALITY 500w power supply as previously mentioned and proven.

What are you talking about? I know that there are better mice out there, im just saying it's a good gaming mouse.

I'm talking about the inherent features of the sensor itself. The Avago 9500 laser sensor used in the G9x and several other popular laser mice is inferior to the sensors used in other mice such as the Zowie AM / EC2 Evo / EC1 Evo, Razer Deathadder, Logitech G400, and others. Why would you buy an inferior mouse? I find the build quality to be mediocre as well.

Ive seen numerous people on here post nice setups and they've tore them to shreds, fair enough if you rate the set up but tearing every detail apart seems harsh,

They're all fair rating. You can't just judge one aspect of the entire setup. That's simply dumb. I don't look at every single thing in the room, just simply point out the stuff that looks horrid and or does not belong there. I don't have a dedicated topic for my setup, but I'd be more than glad to provide a picture.

Since then, I got new blinds so there is no direct sunlight on my desk area.

The monitor and case are going to eventually be replaced by an Ultrasharp / Asus matte and an R4 / Bitfenix Prodigy.

I've posted pics of my setup plenty of times, but that's irrelevant to rating anything. If you want it all to be love and hugs when it comes to setups, the internet is not where you're going to find what you want. Love and hugs don't help anyone with things like this.

Because I run a lot of software and I don't want it to run slow? I have the whole adobe master collection and regularly use Dreamweaver and edit videos using after affects. If I can get 32GB of RAM why not get it? That's like asking someone why they got a 32GB phone over a 16GB phone. Even though RAM doesn't save data wouldn't you want to have a 32GB phone to store more apps? Just a thought.
