I'm going to be buying a computer soon as I'm gunna start gaming on PC. I will be playing games like CoD4, BF3, WoW, RuneScape and LoL. I was thinking on buying 2012 Astro's as they seem the best headset on Xbox and are also compatible with PC. Shall I get wired 2012 Astro's with a 2012 Mixamp or is there another headset that has better sound quality and better effect than Astro's for around the same price? Thanks

I use GameCom 780's. Nice and cheap, reliable, nice sounding.
But GameCome Commanders are **** amazing.

I would get Astro A40's they are 250$ for amazing sound quality and a descent mic. If you want a good 50-60 dollar mic get a Snowball ICE. Good set up for a gaming headset and mic.

I recommend the Audio Technica AD700 with an Antlion Modmic. No reason to spend so much and there's no need for a Mixamp because you're on PC. There's no reason you have to compromise and get a crappy gaming headset if you're not using it with a console.
