Gaming PCs destroy Consoles, you're stupid if you think otherwise.

Just wanted to know switching to pc

A million times, but it's far more expensive to fund. I mean, in the UK, to run most games comfortably on high settings you're gonna need to spend a minimum of 600, maybe 700 quid, and that's custom built (always cheaper to buy the parts and have it built). Dependent on your budget though, I'd say try to save maybe 900 for the computer, 300 for keyboard, mouse, monitor etc.. That'll give you a pretty good computer. My rig cost about 1500 then a further 350 for the monitor and keyboard and mouse.. But I had no money leftover to buy games when I got it. So think wisely and list everything you plan on buying if you're gonna get one.

7-8 year old pc, cant run skyrim, xbox which is 7-8 years old? Mine can, 4 cores to run skyrim with no lag on pc? my xbox has 2 cores and i run it just fine, its all about preference, pc may have better stuff, but its way more expensive, and doesnt last long either, because before you know it, new games and hardware is out and you're stuck with old hardware that will cost alot to upgrade, my xbox has lasted me 7 years without a problem, never even sent it in to microsoft, and i bought it for 100 dollars from a pawn store, xbox wins the ratio for longest lasting and cheapest in the long run, and if you've been using a credit card to pay for live for over 3 years, you only pay 4 dollars a month, atleast i do, so dont give me that bull**** about how paying for live over time will be more than a whole gaming pc, dont get me wrong, mods and rpg games for pc are pretty fun, and you got console commands and other cool stuff, but for competative gaming, and tournaments at places like the D_Pad out in new port richey, its all xbox, the mlg sites? most of it is xbox, even this site, there's more xbox related downloads, topics, and discussions than any other console, i will agree that it mainly is what you prefer, or what you're more comfortable with, but fact wise, xbox destroys anything, and ps3 is getting their *** kicked by the wii, so dont even bring up ps3 anybody, because you lost before you even started reading all this.
