Okay so I've got the online files, and connect to live but it says I have a system update.. What do I do? I've finally decided to put my jtag online to download emulators and games, and soon to be hosting mw2 challenge lobbies. Sorta knew to the whole jtag online.. Any advice?

You update your jtag it's just a avatar update and will be fine. If you really have the server.

No i'm not on a sever yet or anything. But are you positive it wont brick or update my dashboard?

@Gekko: Not that I know of. I just downloaded the online files from the download section yesterday,and it connects me to the network as well as internet but it says I have to do a system update or I'll be signed out of live.

You aren't online if you don't use XBLS.

If you are 16202 already, the update is just avatar stuff and is perfectly safe to apply.

If you are on an older version, applying a newer update would be VERY BAD.

I guess it's a good thing I didn't update then. I can't remember the exact number my dash is, but fromn what I remember it was like 1574 something. But question, how can I update to the dash you said and be perfectly fine?

Use the corresponding XeBuild.
