I downloaded a trial on my retail then put it on my jtag and unlocked it with XM360 and I got an error message saying the game couldn't start please try downloading the game again.

The walking dead
the game should work without xm360. from what i think i know is that that game is in episodes and the first episode is free but have to buy the others (no trial for the others) so im not sure that one would work. you can retry downloading it again

I thought if you unlock the trial it unlocks the full game?

Open your launch.ini & put..

contpatch = false

See if this works. Normally, People enable content patch, But it conflicts with already unlock DLC/XBLA (Not all the time, But most).

I thought if you unlock the trial it unlocks the full game?
it does but only if the game has everything in it. thats why when you get a demo of GOD games you dont get a full game when you try to unlock it

if that doesnt work then the problem might be your dashlaunch. start it up again and instead of changing content patch to false on FlashFXP do it manually on the xbox

that should be on the root of your hard drive if you installed dashlaunch
