Recently I was console banned on my retail, All I ever did was xp lbbies on MW2, and I havent heard of that happening to anyone before. So, I was talking to one of my friend and he said it was because I was still using tu7, and I have to use tu8 now to not get banned. Is that true, did I get banned because I was using tu7 and not tu8? Please help.

You didn't get banned for title updates, you probably got banned for being detected hosting the lobbies or by being reported.
