I have been playing it lately and my brother wanted to know if his laptop will play it,
He has
i7 2600
6gb ram
Integrated intel hd video graphics

I was going to tell him to download the arma2 free demo but I didnt know if his graphics killed it.

I wouldn't recommend gaming on a laptop nor would I recommend gaming with integrated graphics. I think that it would play DayZ, I'm not sure if it would be very good quality or not, his CPU is good enough though by the looks of it!

should be to dont know if the graphics card is good enough tho + if you cant run the dmo your probably cant run dayz check that first

GPU doesn't even really matter in DayZ. you will be fine with that CPU
