I am wanting to build my first gaming pc for around 350.
So far ive been looking at these....

CPU - AMD Athlon II X4 Quad Core 640 3.0Ghz 2mb 95W (Socket AM3) 53.99

Motherboard - MSI FM2-A55M-E33 Motherboard 37.55

HDD - Seagate ST31000524AS 1TB Hard Drive SATA 3 7200rpm 8ms OEM 51.58

PSU - Corsair Builder Series 80+ Bronze CMPSU-430CXV2UK 430W Power Supply (PSU) 35.32

CASE - Fractal Design Core 1000 Series Micro ATX Case - Black Pearl 29.38

DVD RW - LiteOn IHAS124-04 24x SATA DVDRW Half Height Internal Drive Black 14.99

RAM - Corsair Memory 8GB DDR3 1333 Mhz CAS 9 Dual Channel Desktop 36.91

GPU - XFX CORE RADEON 7770 1000M 1GB D5 mDP HDMI DVI 90.92

Can anyone tell me if theres any cheaper alternatives that will still have the same performence.
Plus is the XFX Core Edition Radeon HD 7850 worth an extra 40.
Thanks for any comments.

I am going to assume you are from the UK. I spent 5 minutes putting together a little build for you. I would not recommend a Micro ATX case, they're very small and don't have much space at all. Anyway, hre is the build I made for you;

CPU- Intel Pentium Dual-Core G860, S 1155, Sandy Bridge, Dual Core 3GHz, 3MB Smart Cache, 30x Core Ratio, 65W, Retail - 49.03

Mobo- Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2PV, Intel H61, 1155, DDR3, SATA II - 3Gb/s, PCIe 3.0 (x16), D-Sub/DVI-D, Micro ATX - 40.33

Case- In Win BW135 Black Mid Tower Performance Case with 120mm Rear Fan w/o PSU - 30.79

PSU- 500W Corsair Builder Series CX CP-9020047-UK, 80 PLUS Bronze, SLI/CrossFire, EPS 12V, Quiet Fan, ATX, PSU - 45.00

Optical drive- LiteOn IHAS124-04 24x DVDR, 8x DVDDL, DVD+RW x8/-RW x6, DVD-RAM x12, SATA, Black, OEM - 12.98

HDD- 1TB Seagate ST1000DM003 Barracuda 7200.14 SATA 6Gb/s 7200rpm 64mb Cache 8ms NCQ OEM - 54.54

GPU- 2GB Gigabyte Radeon HD 7750 OC, 1600MHz GDDR3, GPU 850MHz, 512 Cores, HDMI/D-Sub/DVI-D - 71.72

The RAM that you have chosen will work fine. I upgraded the HDD though because the one I chose(3 dearer) is a little bit better. I would never use any less than a 500W PSU, it's not always needed but IMO, 500W is a good amount! There is not really any need for more than an HD7750 GPU because it will run perfectly, it's a great GPU for a budget.
