It's the same silicon, but the 8350 is binned higher. The heating issues are from something you did wrong and due to the higher clock speed, the 8350 should produce MORE heat.

Really? All of my Piledrivers have been cooler than my Bulldozers. I'm betting that it's the architecture of the Bulldozers or something along those lines.
