Hey guys I'm currently in the state of building my gaming pc and I want to know is there a difference in a regular motherboard and a micro motherboard? Basically which one is best for gaming?

Micro-ATX boards are exactly as the name implies: small.
If you are on a budget, a Micro-ATX board will do just fine, but if you have a little extra to spend, an ATX will be the better choice.

Also, I forgot to add; if you wish to have an ATX board, you need to find out if it is a mid case or bigger. Anything smaller will only fit a micro-ATX
