This is a new thing I'm starting Daily or Weekly where I post a topic on your opinions on artists, since I'm mainly into rap your going to be seeing alot of Hip-Hop artists from me.
Let's Begin
Your Opinion on Busta Rhymes
Just post below your opinions on this artists, and please be very through into it, please write more then one sentence. :3
My Own Opinion:
Personally since I've listened to all his albums from 1996-2012 from "The Coming" to his new Album I forget the name of lol. I personally like his first 3 albums only, after that he changed up his style, which isn't a bad thing, but he changed it into a way where he sounds like another generic rapper. Even now of days he is referred to as a "Speed Rapper" which is true in some tracks but not in all of them. I still have mad respect for the dude, like last year he performed with Leaders of the New School (That was the group he was in back in 1991) and he still performs alot of his older tracks from back in the 90's at his shows. All in all I have a love-hate relationship with Busta, I wish he would go back to his old style but it's all good though, not all artists stay the same forever.

But the thing is he shouldn't be considered a "Speed Rapper" like everyone says he is a regular MC that can rap at normal speed and most of the time he raps at normal speed, there's only a couple tracks where he's spittin' that fast. Go listen to his older songs you can see he's pretty lyrical without rhyming fast as ****.
Example #1: Busta Rhymes: Get Out(2000)
Album: Anarchy(2000)
Video:
Example #2: Busta Rhymes: Rhymes Galore(1997)
Album: When Disaster Strikes...(1997)
Video/Song:
Those show his lyrical ability some without rhyming fast and this brings up another topic, like I said eariler he was a better rapper back in the 90's then he was now. Espically when he signed w/ Cash Money when I lost respect for him as an artist. That's why the songs above are from 2000 and below because that was when he was in his prime.

He is really good at what he does, and he deserves more attention and respect than what he gets. There's plenty of rappers out right now that get mainstream attention and success when they shouldn't. Busta either needs to go back to his old style, or he needs to sit out.
Sidenote: whether we are comparing speed or not, I think Twista is a better rapper than busta rhymes lol.

That's good right there, comparing speed, Twista is faster. I just think lyrically-wise in my opinion Busta is underrated and people only see him as that wild/fast rapper.
He can be calm and collected to which you have already seen in multiple records.
I do like Old Busta alot even though I just sounded like a hypocrite for saying people see him as a wild rapper I do sometimes also when going back and listening to his old LP's.
