I would refrain from an AMD FX CPU, they aren't as good as they sound, but other than that it's a pretty nice sounding build.

If I were to change things, I would have an SSD as a boot drive, the 1TB as storage. Maybe upgrade to 16GB RAM.

He wont need 16Gb ram. But i do agree with you,The Amd cpu.
