If you just got it for Christmas, it is unlikely that hardware is causing the problem.

By NO MEANS am I a BSOD expert, however my old pc got it and I fixed it myself. I'll share with you my story, so it might aid you in your dilemma.

Like I said, my old computer started to get the BSOD out of nowhere, but it happened quite frequently. After two system restore, i determined there wasn't any software issue, so it had to be an issue with a component in my computer. BSOD continued, but I noticed I would only get it when I was playing audio (be it a game or music). At this point I had narrowed down the issue to my motherboards audio jack. So I moved my speaker cable to the front of my computer, instead of my motherboard, and presto! No more BSOD!!

I mean, who would have guessed I was getting BSOD from an audio jack?! It just goes to show there can be many things causing it, but with some simple troubleshooting you can normally identify what the problem is.

A few things to do to help me understand your problem better:

Download this: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Run it, and post a screenshot of it.

And again, post a screenshot of what you see.

From there I should be able to help you a bit better.

Don't quite think this is my problem because I'm constantly listening to music xD

If your are still getting BSOD then run
a chkdsk in CMD
Blue screens can sometimes mean you have errors on your local hard disk

Update your drivers that should fix these issues, except any of the lates windows optional, important updates.

Always fixes for me.

Think I've found the problem...
Its my motherboard temperature.

I have been checking it quite often then it was nearing 60C and it turned off...
Any tips on how to keep the motherboard cool?
I currently have 3 case fans (2 in, 1 out)

Just found an update for my graphics driver..
That could of been the problem, I haven't had BSOD since, so I'll come back in a few days if I have it again..
