I've recently purchased a Geforce GTX 660 Graphics card which replaced my ancient Redeon HD 2600 PRO. i installed all the drivers, everything's up to date but i cant help but notice that this new Card is performing worse than the other. it could be my processor but it wasn't acting like this with my old card any ideas? PS: my processor is a peace of shit but if you need the info i have a "IntelCore2 6600 @ 2.40Ghz

everyone here is for the most part clueless for the record, try overclock forum.
but to my knowledge it is most likely your cpu bottlenecking the gpu
sorry to say this but you need a new cpu/motherboard

However you'll need a new motherboard aswell for newer cpu's because of the new socket

Have you uninstalled all the old drivers from the AMD card?
