hey i just want to know if my graphics card is what is broken, my screen had bars going through it and now it doesn't give a signal. i want to know if it is my graphics card before i waste money on another one. Thanks for your help if you can please reply quick it would be appreciated

Do you have all the right plugs in try putting in the vga and the blue one.

yeah i have the right plug ins and like the fan on the card still runs, it is a nvidia 8800 gt

It could be the pci slot on the motherboard that is messed up then. Do you have 2 pcis?

I know its not that because i put in an older video card and it worked and this happened to me before, the no display, and i fixed it by just taking the card out and putting it back in but this time it doesnt work, i cleaned the card and the slot and still nothing :/

Then it must be the graphics card. How long did you have it for? Maybe you can get a refund or a new one sent.
