I see all these videos saying it's really hard to get online and your banned really quickly, ive been playing on mw2 and i was in a hacked lobby for a few hours the host was fine, im confused. Will i get banned if i go online with my jtag for like 30 min? also is there a good place to buy KV's for when i do get banned?

Even with a KV you will be banned almost instantly without XBLS files. For the lobby you were in (assuming it was challenge) the person had all the necessary files and could remain online for his allotted amount of time.
