Its a nice simple logo,
Why is every logo big enough to be a desctop background?

and the background is to plain add more to it, to cause the logo to be the center of attention

The background is not part of the Logo, it is there just to show it off.

The background is not part of the Logo, it is there just to show it off.
ok, next time just try to make just the logo, not with a background because other people will grade you an the background as well
