Thats right, as i am typing this now, US President Barack Obama has announced that well over 63,000 US troops in the last month have been removed from the COMBAT MISSIONS. Meaning that the war... is over for combat missions which is 80% of what the US troops and allies are there for., meaning all other countries are still fighting unless they decide to leave as well. The US has gone out of the war, with no loss and no win. There WILL be US soldiers still in Iraq but, not for combat reasons and have been given strict orders to only fire upon those who fire or hold hostage others. Iraq has given the US approval to police the streets with fire arms as long as they are there. The Iraqi president has been more than helpful and agrees that the war must end. Ending the combat missions does not mean the violence will stop. If the terrorists from Al-Qaeda continue to fight, so will we to defend Iraq and our fellow UN allies. For those who dont agree with Barack Obama, thats your choice. From what i have seen on this website of politics is that about 90% of you have no idea what your talking about and dis like Obama for rumors such as he isnt a US citizen and stuff like that, which was proven wrong as he IS one. We are very glad here to have the combat missions ended as my brother and uncles are finally back from Iraq after 2-3 years. Also Obama just stated that troops will be deployed upon voluntary decision which have already been filled, the troops will be there to help clean up Iraq of the mess everyone has left.
