ok, i have the new gateway fx, should i get the black magic design shuttle or the intensity pro?

intensity pro probably the best cap card out there i have one and i love it so yea i would by that

Sony Vegas 9.0, but if you're just recording game play for montages (etc), then all you will need is Windows Movie Maker. I'd also look into getting Adobe Flash Media Encoder, in case you ever feel like livestreaming. Also, you'll probably need to pick up an extra HDMI cord, I don't think the Intensity Pro comes with one. Other than that, you won't need anything; it will come with the card, and the drivers. After that, hook-up HDMI input and output, and start recording.
P.S. - I recommend using Sony Vegas 9.0 to render, it has good quality rendering. Also; check YouTube videos, they really do help.
