so apparently i have an amazing internet speed of 1200 kb/s and i was talking to my internet company today about my internet going out yesterday and the support guy said it was the fastest he had ever seen can it be bad for my internet speed to be so high?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's not that fast. That's just under a Mb per second. Depending on your Internet provider that may be fast for them though. But for the bigger companies it's not uncommon to have 15-30 Mb/sec.

That can't be very fast. Here in Australia we have the slowest internet in the world and yet mines at 4.5 So seems like hes lieing to you so you stay with them...

I would call up and question it.

When companies advertise internet speeds, they advertise in megabits/S, not megabytes. For example, 15 Mbit is is around 2 megabyte (1.875 to be precise)

It appears a lot quicker to customers than if they said 2 megabyte per second speed.
