I'm not sure if somebody has already found this, it will probably already be onyoutube but I'd like you to take a look at this:

In the animated intro of Die Rise, you follow the story of Samuel (the guy with the glasses) and he hears voices in his head. The voices tell him to "Man or Mend the Rift". Now this is the interesting part:

The Voice continues and he replies,
Samuel: "Well huh, what if I don't wanna"
Mystery Voice: Presumably says "I'll tell them about the flesh"

THEN It goes to a flashback and these images appear:
This first image you can see Samuel with a hunched back and a very dark face eating an arm, almost zombie or werewolf like: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

And before the flashback ends (during the flashback) you see this image: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Far right you can see a man holding a gun, this doesn't seem to be a man out of the zombie story line, you can also clearly see the outline of 2 men in the center at the top,and if you look closely a man on the left of them (just left)

I'm not sure if this is of any help to you guys, hopefully it is and could you please leave some feedback as to what you think?

EDIT 1 : Samuel has DEFINITELY been bitten by a zombie and infected. This explains why he can hear the voices of Richthofen in his head and nobody else can. Also on the cinematic, he has a bandage around his left leg so that is where he has been bitten.100% without a shadow of a doubt i believe I am correct. It would make so much sense if this was the case. My theory is that in the next map pack you will discover that he has been bitten and he will be able to contact Richthofen and Maxis by using his "powers"

EDIT 2 : When you hear the transmission of the TV, the guy says the symptoms of being infected. One of them are short term memory loss.
In the animated video, Samuel has short term memory loss because he says " have i been here before? - This just backs up my theory of Samuel being bitten. He says that the infection is in the air,so this means that the whole crew will get infected in the final map pack

He also says that there had been no evidence of memory loss paranoia,but Samuel has all of these symptoms.

Another man on the recording says that they must consume the dead. Samuel did this...
