They did the same with GTA IV. I don't think they should announce the release date so early, surely they must know they won't complete the game by the date they set.

Oh well at least we know the game will be finished when it's released rather then have a game which is being updated twice a week because they didn't bother finishing it.

Tea wrote I'm quite glad with the release date, as it's no doubt that I will use as much time as I can when it comes out to play it, so now it's released when I won't be busy with college and not during a holiday, so I'll luckily avoid failing exams and being fully anti social because of it

Also, the longer the wait, the better the finished product which will be amazing, so I can't wait.

I would have to agree with you on the last bit. Games that take longer usually are a lot better.

I was heartbroken this was the Game which would occupy my 2013 obviously the game must be huge as they said on twitter "Development for GTA V Began right after GTA IV: Episodes for Liberty City" Not word to word!

My summer will be meaningless and void of entertainment without GTAV. I get delaying for improvements, but 4 months is way too long.

at least everyone will get more fresh air this summer and loose some weight lol, plus they obviously delayed it for a reason, i wouldn't want a game filled with annoying bugs

Lets get this straight.

They release it in spring with loads of bugs and everyone moans the game is broke and is crap.

They delay it until September, therefore decreasing the risk of that happening. Yet still people moan.

What would you rather have; a broken game in May or the best game ever in September?

Yeh, I agree with Tea, I have some GCSEs right after the original release date so now I can focus on them without missing out on GTA V.
