Probably because you're one of the only countries that legally allow civilians to own guns, and coincidentally you have the highest gun crime rate and homicide rate. Yeah, nice one.

Im sorry but you need to stfu THE UK HAS ONE OF THE MOST HIGHEST **** CRIME RATE

Your tone is kind of annoying. You act like your mad at the situation and it isn't even your country. Maybe if you lived here all your life, you too would understand. Who really wants their rights taken from them? Especially from a president named Barack Hussein Obama?

It doesn't have to be my country to make me mad? I feel for the families that lost their little kids because some maniac bought a legal fire-arm went into a school and shot the kids. Yeah, I understand your point about having your rights taken away, but surely people dying is worse than having no guns.

When people quote that line from the second amendment, I laugh. The reason the part about the right to a militia was put in there, was because there was no real army in 1776. Just some farmers in torn uniforms fighting for freedom. We have police, we have a very organized Army, we have those things that they did not. And i'm very sure that the reason that's there is because Thomas Jefferson meant for all of you to walk around town with an M4 variant slung across your back, and for your children to have a trench knife on them at all times in school. I'm sure that's exactly what they meant (Sarcasm for those of you who are foolish enough to think I'm pro Assault weapon ownership )

While we sit here and can claim the we are truely a free country. I would really like to see what would go through your mind if your government decided to strengthen your police and military and lock the country down as North Korea does. As people without firearms, you wouldn't get far at all. You would be forever stuck hoping another country would bail you out. At least we Americans could actually fight back and have a decent chance. It's the bigger picture here.

What are the chances of a country lock down? Very, very tiny. You're thinking about the bigger picture, but at what cost? Oh yeah, little kids being shot dead.

So there is a robbery. At a store and you are a victim. What would you do, you can't have gun's and if they have a gun you aren't going to run up there and try to hit them, especially if there was like 10 people. If your did country go on a lock down, you would just have to sit back and watch. At that point, the most you could do is pull out a knif, which is going to get you killed.

You need to understand that punching someone in the arm can be considered a violent crime. But killing someone is a homicidal crime. What's worse, punching someone or killing them? Hmm. It doesn't take a genius to work it out.

People aren't going to just willingly give up their guns. Government cannot disarm the people, it isn't right. Who else has disarmed their people in the past...Hitler? Stalin? Mao?

The point is, it's very rare that people will rob a store with a gun because they're illegal and you can't just go and buy one!

Can I ask, why don't you want firearms banned?

Ok first of all your first post on this topic said,uk banned guns and they haven't had a school shooting in a long time... Have you looked at the uk Violent crime rate higher then us, the uk 26.4% the us 21.1% .
Now also the us has more pepole then the uk. That should tell you something even if the us doesn't have gun ban.

To go back to your question why don't I want firearms banned, well first of all The Second Amendment clearly states "The right to bear arms". That's not just so I can go duck hunting in my back yard. I want to be able to defend my self because If I was to live it the Uk a man comes in my house with a gun witch is illegal in your country,The bad guy will allways be able to no matter your laws. So you might be able to fight out of there but call the police wtf are they going to pull out there water gun and tell him to put it down not likey. (The Operator hears gun call the SAS) . (The police don't even have guns they don't even trust the police that MUST tell you something) Why I need a gun is to be able to Protect myself. know matter if its a Ar-15 or .22 Pistol

Second Amendment-"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, Shall Not Be Infringe"

So hell no to gun control. I would love a Reply to this post. Idgaf if you thumbs this down

There's a difference between violent crime, and homicide crime. America has the highest homicide crime rate out of all the developed countries in the world. Secondly, it's very, very rare someone will come into your house and point a gun at you in the UK. I'll have to check the rate for that, but I sure as hell know it's minimal. Thirdly, half of the things you said I couldn't quite understand as it was very poorly worded.
O your are **** Retarded its still a crime what the Difference guns stop Violent crimes that could turn to homicides

Yes, because Obama is obviously a dictator craving power. Get real. If I woke up and found "Hail your leader Barack Obama" posters everywhere, and armed MP on every street corner, than maybe this would be believable. Using points like that just make you seem un-educated and unaware of your surroundings.
