Okay, so I need a new desktop, mainly for YouTube and running mine craft on okay graphics, I currently have an asus notebook which is unable to run mine raft even though it is supposed to be a gaming laptop, I bout this laptop for around about 700 and an looking at a budget of the same, maybe 800 any suggestions on parts that will handle Vegas for rendering and mine craft on okay graphics with more than 5fps

Seems like a bit of overkill to me the cpu is a nice choice and the ram seems appropriate for rendering but 2gb of dedicated video memory is a lot and 7770 is also quite a bit, not saying its a bad choice, just saying some money could be saved there.

well you may want to start playing more demanding games so think about the the future uses as well, but if you feel that you wont then yes money would be saved
