I have AMD Athlon II X2 255 @ 3.1 GHz and I am wondering what graphics card I can get for it so I can play games like call of duty and battlefield 3 at atleast Ultra settings, I was thinking about buying the GTX 650, for 89.99 or should I spend alittle more for a better card. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I currently have an ASUS GTX 570 DCII and it handles Battlefield 3 well (well for me is at the very minimum 60fps). You did not give us a lot of information about what you want so I am going to expect that you want at least 60fps completely maxed out settings including FXAA etc on a 1920x1080 resolution...
With everything maxed the EVGA 680 2gb ($469.99) will get you an average of about 70fps I believe. The EVGA 670 ($369.99)I believe will get you around 60fps with the same settings.
That gtx 650 that you wanted, I loled because it will only get around 40fps on high settings. Expect a bigger drop for ultra.
If you want the best quality you are going to pay for it. I just got the EVGA GTX 680 a couple of days ago and in comes in the mail tomorrow so I will be able to put that to the test.

OK, What do you all think about a EVGA Geforce GTX 560 superclocked? That is stepping it up in price will this get it done performance wise? Also yes I would like to get about 60 fps, Other pc specs are 4gb of ram, 1TB HDD and 650 PSU. Also I was looking at the GTX 550 Ti just trying to keep the price down as I only have about 250 to spend.

If you have $250 to spend on the graphics card and you want to play BF3, the 660 is the way to go.

If you want to upgrade your CPU without getting a new motherboard, though, the 965 is a good option.

But then you have less to spend on the card. CoD is not very demanding, but it's a CPU and graphics dependant game while BF3 is more of a graphics dependant game. Your current CPU will hold you back considerably.
