back to ios 5.1.1 so i can get un-jailbroken and update to ios 6.1

Why don't you just restore-update to iOS 6.1?

what you mean custom firmware? i had one for 4.2.1 but that was a ipsw. but i cant really do anything on itunes, i need more memory before i can update but i have deleted like 22 apps and a lot of stuff on cydia. nothing still not enough memory. so im sol y0.

It would be a LOT quicker and simpler to update to iOS 6.1. Is your iTunes on the latest version? And what iPod generation are you using?

my ipod is a 4th gen, and i believe itunes is updated to the latest version.

use sn0wbreeze to make a custome ISPW as long as SHSH BLOBS are saved
