I have been out of the scene of modding for a while and i'm just getting back. I've searched around for someone to clear up some of the questions i have about mw2 modding. All i want to know is that i see topics of people hosting online lobbies, why is this possible? Jtags aren't online and you can't host them on a retail xbox. and secondly how do you host mw2 lobbies now? what is the accepted method, i guess recoveries?

Jtags & RGH can go online with a verified files from Xbox Live Stealth. expensive tho..

You can host challenge lobbies now by system link from rgh/jtag to retail with xbox live unlocks on.. you can use this for recoveries.

you can now host XP lobbies with infection of the RGH/jtag to retail thru system link
