So guys. Just going to say something before I start. I am by no means a racist person.

Anyway as the title states. There's something about certain religions I can not stand. Some make me sick to my stomach!!

My girlfriend is in university.. She shares a floor with 8 females. They are all Muslims apart from one. Anyway, by her being in university an living with these girls. (By the way I have met them.. and they are all lovely people) Means shes learning different things about different cultures. In fact i lied there are 6 who are muslims one of them is chinease.

Anyway, they tell her things about their religion. First of all their parents are very very wealthy people. The one who she is closest to the most isn't so strict with her religion. She goes out partying but doesn't drink. Where as the others dont leave the building unless buying food/ Lectures or going home.

They are strictly not allowed to show bare skin. They are also not allowed to date white people. The one girl is dating someone white and if her father finds out she will get beaten!! makes me feel sick.

The other girls family.. Her father and uncle are very high up in their home country. Yemen (yes i know its a call of duty map) If her father wants he can walk up to someone in his home country and murder someone in front of everyone and not get questioned on why he done it.. or what his punishment will be because the people around him think its okay as hes a superior.

Most of the girls are scared to go out because they dont want to get caught by their parents and get beaten when they arrive home. No matter who they fall in love with, their parents have already decided who they are going to marry. So once they marry they dont have the choice to work.. so basically their degree is for nothing. They are treated like slaves and if they refuse to marry the man. They get sent to their original country (normally where family live) and they are then given a further beating.

Beating them makes me sick to my stomach, not only do they never get to marry the person they fall in love with. They are sold to that persons parents and put in slavery for the rest of their life!

HOW IS THIS A RELIGION, HOW IS THIS HUMAN?

i would also like to add by no means do i think every muslim family is like this.. and no disrespect to any TTG member that is.. This is a touchy subject i understand. Except i cant help the fact that the rules they live by are just morally wrong.

Woman bring us into this world.. why should they be treated this way

I see what your saying. This really is a touchy subject but this is their religion, their culture and there's not much you can do. Everything your saying is true and I don't get it either but this is what they choose to believe. Although the girls have a choice though it may be difficult they can choose their own religion, husbands, and jobs their not in Yemen anymore.

Do you understand the difference between racism, religion, and nationality?

Why are you asking? I said I'm not a racist because people may be offended.. And think I'm saying all of this just down to the fact of their skin colour.

And this is their religious beliefs.. That a woman has her husband picked for her, the fact that they beat them and think this is acceptable?
