Also about the China alliance, when North Korea did their first nuclear missile launch they gave notice to the government of the People's Republic of China 20 minutes prior to the test. China immediately sent an emergency alert to Washington, through the United States embassy in Beijing. They're strong friends but China aren't stupid.

In terms of technology and research, the UK are still very high up there, and possibly top. They have some exceptional technology, but then again we don't know for sure what's being made in area 51. Some say of a new Jet codenamed "Aurora" - look it up on the wikipedia. I found it quite interesting.

North Korea don't have a chance against the USA.

The USA still have the most powerful army in the world, just ahead of China. I know people like to think China has flying robots that shoot nukes while killing everything ever, but they don't. It's been researched anyways, the top 10 are:

1. USA.
2. Russia.
3. China.
4. India.
5. UK.
6. France.
7. Germany.
8. South Korea.
9. Italy.
10. Brazil.

So in a WW3 scenario it would be:

1/5/6/7/8/9 v 2/3. Although Russia and China isn't a guaranteed alliance and Brazil will play apart along with North Korea, isreal and other major powers, it all depends on who India side with.

Either way, you'll probably die.

Maybe I said it wrong, they done tests in 2006 I believe but key word: TEST
Now they've got fully activated missiles which could take out South Korea, China, Japan etc. Sure they're doing a few modifications but they've got nuclear weapons.

And when I said there's always someone better, I wasn't implying North Korea are any better than the US, I was simply saying they're more or less the equivalent in terms of nuclear warfare, size doesn't always matter.

Finally, yes. China and North Korea are allies, which is why South Korea asked China asa last resort to basically talk them out of the third nuclear test.

Yep, the US would probably win in a war against North Korea, but if North Korea where of the verge of annexation, they'd more than likely use their nuclear weapons as a last resort, resulting in further use of nuclear weapons.

A quick search on Google will show that Russia have the most nuclear weapons, more than double that of America and China have the most advanced man military weaponry although not the most. If I am correct, America DOES have the most weapons for their troops but more than is needed. Although, the Israeli army and the British army are better trained than the American army is. When I said "puny", I was meaning in size comparison. The fact is though, that WW3 WILL be fought with nuclear weapons, it's inevitable. Though, I do think that every country will try their best to prevent WW3. If N. Korea were to threaten to launch nuke's, I would presume it's allies would think of the consequences and just let them be nuked by other countries. If so, this is definitely not the case. If North Korea started a nuclear war, China wouldn't just sit back and wait for their own country to get bombed just to prevent further destruction. If the west launched nuclear weapons at North Korea, it'd probably take out most of Eastern Europe and all of Asia. Not to mention the fact that Alaska and Canada would get the radiation. Additionally, I don't really know but North-north America MIGHT just get some of the aftermath.

Apologies, I'm rushing my replies! I meant that if N. Korea threatened other countries with nuclear weapons, China would back out and let N. Korea get f*cked up. It would be simpler for everyone and China would know if they got involved and helped N. Korea, the results for them would be horrific. Meaning China would completely ignore N. Korea, N. Korea would get bombed and China would be left alone thus every other country is fine apart from maybe South Korea and possible a small fraction of china because of radiation but again, this would be the simplest answer to evade and prevent WW3. If, however, China were going to be nuked, yes, they would launch their nuke's everywhere just to take everyone else down with them.
