Okay i just think it is rediculous that the Xbox 360 doesn't allow Netflix steaming without an Gold Account. We already pay for the service but Microsoft makes us pay a little extra so we can use their console for it. Also Xbox 360 is the only console that needs a premium membership to use a service we already pay for. I just see how money hungry people can get.
Agree or disagree, this was my rant. <3

AppsndJuegos wrote You get what you pay for; don't like it, go to PS3No thanks. I am on to PC gaming which I view as the superior gaming system. But I have an Xbox in my room that i like to watch before I fall asleep.

I never thought about it that way, but it is silly that they charge for it. At the least you should be able to just use netflix without gold.

People have to make their money somehow. I know, they shouldn't, but they do.

I guess it's so they get something out of letting another company put their product on their console.

I could understand why. Your using their bandwidth and costing them money to stream for free.
Imagine the amount of people who don't have Xbox Live Gold, if people who owned Hulu and Netflix were allowed to watch it free, it would drastically increase the bills for internet usage.
So paying for Xbox Live, allows them to still profit.
I'm not saying it's exactly right, but I can understand why. It's business.
As far as PC being superior, meh. Debatable

The funny thing is...
Wii's Netflix app is free
PS3's Netflix app is free
You can go to Netflix on your PC for free
Roku/Apple TV/others are free
Every single way of accessing Netflix (with the exception of the Xbox 360 app) does not require you to have to pay an extra $60 per year subscription fee.
Not only this, but EVERY APP on the 360, including Internet Explorer, requires a Gold membership. It's ridiculous. You don't "get what you pay for", it's just Microsoft trying to get people to pay a subscription fee that they may not even need.
