Hey guys, I was just wondering what this was that popped up recently, and whether or not it is a virus: every time I start up my comp (windows 7 64 bit), a window pops up with java and it says juncheck exe or something of the sort and asks for permission to run it. Naturally I clicked no, but I was wondering what it was, whether it safe, and where I got it from. +Rep for partial or full help with my question, thanks!

It's the Java update service. Just say yes next time, and Java will be up to date!

Is there any reason why it is labeled that or any way I can manually update Java?

That is how you update java. I can guarantee that it is not a virus. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
