Before I used to have a dentist appointment, I would always remember the last one and how I built up to it so much but it was over within 10 minutes.
It's not like you're going in for prolonged torture.
When you look back on it when it's finished, you will think about how quickly it was all over.
Also, take painkillers before you go, not after.
Focus on a spot on the ceiling, just stare at it and let your mind drift while they work, this is what SAS soldiers are trained to do in case they are captured and tortured.

i know how you feel i once had get a back tooth out but the Cu*t pushed my jaw down and i anit went back to one i have to get put asleep
